Some of these can be seen on land, but many are only accessible to certified divers. There is something for everyone, as we have both easy caves suitable for OWD divers, slightly more challenging ones for divers with more experience, and also those available only to technical divers.

The sites can be accessed from shore at any time of the day. In addition, several other wrecks around Gozo, Comino and Malta are accessible from a boat and we regularly organize trips to them.

Gozo is famous for its exceptional dive sites. The best and most popular dive sites on Gozo are the Blue Hole and Inland Sea, which have amazing underwater geological formations and marine life. The MV Karvela and MV Cominoland wrecks are also very popular wreck diving sites and considered by many divers to be the best wrecks in Europe.

Visibility on Gozo is generally excellent, often exceeding 30 meters or more in optimal conditions. This clear water allows for fantastic underwater photography and observation of marine life.
The water temperature varies depending on the season and ranges from about 14°C in winter to 28°C in summer. A foam or dry suit is recommended year-round.

The recreational diving season on Gozo runs from April to November, with peak periods from July to September. The technical diving season runs throughout the year. For more information, please contact us. Winter temperatures range from 15 to 18 degrees Celsius, while spring temperatures range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. Summer is the warmest season, with temperatures ranging from about 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. In autumn, temperatures gradually drop, ranging from about 20 to 24 degrees Celsius (68 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit).
The recreational diving season in Malta runs from April to November, with the peak diving season in July-September, when the weather is warmer. The technical diving season lasts year-round, but if you are planning a technical dive in winter, please contact us in advance for more information.
In winter (December to February), the water temperature can vary from about 15 to 18 degrees Celsius. In spring (March to May), the water temperature begins to rise and ranges from about 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. This is the warmest period of summer (June to August), when the water temperature ranges from about 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. Finally, the water temperature gradually decreases in autumn (from September to November) and ranges from about 20 to 24 degrees Celsius.
Diving in Malta in November is definitely possible, as the centers’ diving activities are available year-round. In autumn, that is, from September to November, the water temperature usually ranges from 20 to 24 degrees. In winter, on the other hand, from December to February, the water temperature can range from about 15 to 18 degrees Celsius.
However, keep in mind that water temperature is just one of several factors to consider when diving in Malta. It is also worth remembering that the autumn and winter months are windier, which means that diving may not be possible every day and at all dive sites.
Mild to moderate currents are common, and quite frequent at some dive sites. Whenever you go on a dive with us, we will give you information about the current conditions.

Four amazing wrecks are accessible from the shore at Xatt l’Ahmar: the MV Karwela wreck, the MV Cominoland wreck, the MV Xlendi wreck and the newest – the MT Hephaestus wreck. These ships were sunk to provide shelter for marine life and as an underwater attraction for divers from around the world.
