About us

Our beginnings

We were coming to Gozo from Poland for years to dive and relax. Enchanted by the beauty of this island above and below the water, one day, we decided to just settle here and make our dreams come true.

We found our home in Marsalforn, a beautiful seaside town surrounded by charming beaches and within walking distance of many fantastic dive sites. Soon after, our own dive centre Blue Hole Diving Gozo was established to share our passion and the beauty of this island with others.

Our values

At our centre we focus on safety, development of diving skills and care for the marine environment. So we promote buddy system, offer a whole range of diving courses, and educate divers about underwater nature and conservation.

Who we are

Wojtek Karkusiewicz

A man who has always been involved in sports and recreation. He is a multiple Polish champion and medalist at the European Shooting Championships and an Olympian. He has been involved in diving since the 1980s, and is currently an SSI diving instructor and a renowned respected underwater photographer.

Mariola Karkusiewicz

Owner of Blue Hole Diving Gozo LTD and privately married to Wojtek. She is an economist by education and is in charge of marketing and the centre’s day-to-day operations. She also helps our guests organize their travel arrangements, find accommodation and suggests what they can see in their free time in Gozo and Malta.

Our centre

Our Blue Hole Diving Gozo diving centre is located in the picturesque village of Marsalforn, in the north of the island of Gozo. You can feel at home in the cozy air-conditioned office. Come talk to us about diving or just enjoy a cup of tea. New, well-maintained equipment for recreational and technical diving awaits those who intend to go underwater with us, as well as two comfortable cars that will take you to unique divesite in every corner of the island.
